Assemblies

A Cable assembly can be split into three crucial components, the connector, the cable and the manufacturing process. These three areas all contribute to the performance of a patch cord, but above all the manufacturing process is the one that defines the performance of the assembly. Whilst the cable and connectors used in FiberFab Optical fiber patch cords are the best available, it is our expertise in production that sets our products apart. Each assembly is terminated and tested at our ISO9001 approved facility and comes complete with individual test certificates showing insertion/return loss and giving complete traceability.

The FiberFab range of patch cords has grown through the years, from every day standard lengths to special products to meet your needs. From industry standard 62.5/125 multimode to 9/125 singlemode right the way up to state of the art OM3 50/125 cable assemblies, FiberFab can supply them all.

FiberFab is renowned for its ability to produce highly complicated cable assemblies for specific customer requirements, and is proud of its ability to terminate fiber with virtually any connector.

Solving complex problems is FiberFab’s speciality and producing mode-conditioning patch cords to allow laser driven signals to work over older multi-mode fiber is an example of this.
