Connector Cleaning Fluid

This high-purity optical-grade solvent is a versatile cleaner. It removes light oils, salts, moisture, skin oils, dust, lint, polishing media, uncured epoxies and even flux residues. It is safe on glass, plastics, metals, cured epoxies and circuit boards but not safe for plastic optical fiber.

Preparation Fluid

This optical-grade solvent is double-filtered for purity, so cleaning is more consistent and reliable. It delivers excellent results removing light oils, salts, moisture, fingerprints, dust, lint, fibers, grime, polishing media, flux residues and uncured epoxies. This versatile cleaner is safe on glass, metal, cured epoxies, and insulators; it is generally safe on plastics except plastic optical fibers (see Precision Optical Cleaner under “Related Products”).

Cletop Clean Reel

The Cleanreel cassette cleaner is the perfect solution for cleaning fiber connector endfaces and will clean all standard 2.5mm and 1.25mm connector types. A simple squeeze of the lever opens a window to reveal a fresh section of anti-static micro-fiber cloth. The connector end-face is then stroked along the cloth in one direction to give a perfect clean. Each cassette cleaner contains a replaceable reel of cloth with each reel giving up to 400 cleans before it needs replacing.

Hand Held Inspection Microscope

The OPT-FHS series hand-held fiber inspection microscopes, available in 200X and 400X magnification, are an ideal choice for checking field terminations for fiber end face quality. Laser Safety
The OPT-FHS series is equipped with a laser attenuation filter for your safety. Laser attenuation filters provide excellent eye protection. However, they are not a substitute for practising good laser safety. Never attach or view a live fiber with any optical fiber microscope.
