Dome Enclosure From 1 Fiberto 96 Fiber Capacity

This unique enclosure is quick and easy to install and requires no specialist tooling. Included with the enclosure is the universal fixing bracket for overhead post/pole and wall installations as well as the specially designed plug to utilise the cable bearer brackets in underground chambers. The enclosure has passed stringent specification requirements to LN450 as defined by British Telecom.

Sealant For Dome Enclosures:

Our Sealant is a unique polyurethane sealant for the Telecommunication industry, to ensure joints and cables are effectively sealed against the ingress of water and water vapour. The sealant is dispensed from a hermetically sealed 170ml co-axial cartridge system, once mixed through the mixing nozzle and applied the sealant is an inert material. And cures inside the 15 minute short term “MEL” permitting the closure to be flash tested to prove the integrity of the installation. The specially developed co-axial cartridge allows greater control over the application of the sealant and reduces sealant wastage as the cartridge can be re-sealed. This sealant is fully compliant to meet the stringent requirement of COSHH.

• Gas Blocking of the sealant in external joints to BT specification RC9307, Result No Pressure Loss.
• Temperature cycling in water testing of The sealant to BT specification LN 450B Result No Pressure Loss.

Curing temperature +45°C.
Flash testing can commence 15 minutes after sealing application.
COSHH compliant.
